About Tloco

Tloco (pronounced Tlotso) is the newest member of the Girls Trip Tours Team. She will join Girls Trip Tours as a regional experience lead for Southern Africa. As we grow our ecosystem of locally-owned and women-owned travel partners across Africa, Tloco will nurture, grow, and manage those relationships across the Southern Africa region in order to curate unique, imaginative, and purpose-filled itineraries that create lasting social impact where we operate.

Tloco is an experienced travel curator with a background spanning finance, investments, and entrepreneurship. She is also the founder of a Botswana-based boutique travel company, Lubu Africa Travel, that will operate exclusively in partnership with Girls Trip Tours to curate unique travel experiences for women in select destinations in Southern Africa. She recently completed her MBA at the University of Cape Town and is a 2021 Mandela Washington fellow standing in support of sustainable travel and win-win solutions for local communities, the environment and business.

What’s she currently working on?

We just wrapped a pre-trip earlier this month where she tested out our Zambia 2023 itinerary and onboarded new travel partners. Tloco is also working with us on a Cape Town experience for late 2023.
